Western Blot Stripping Protocol Mild

1X TBST
Non-fat dry milk
Stripping Buffer
   50mM glycine (3.76g/L)
   150mM NaCl (8.76g/L)
0.1%NP-40 (1mL/L)
pH to 2.5


1.   Re-wet blot or wash in 1X TBST
2.   Wash in stripping buffer for 25 minutes
3.   Re-wash blot in new stripping buffer 25 minutes
4.   Wash 5 times in 1X TBST
5.   Block for 30 minutes RT in 5% milk TBST
6.   Re-probe blot
7.   Alternatively blot can also be stripped in 0.2M glycine pH 2.5 at 80 C for 1 hour
